I have been trying to think of a way to share with you some of my hero products, favourite things, people, books or podcasts that inspire me … so I have decided to pop in here every Monday and share one of my Heroes.
Mondays are a struggle sometimes, so are always made better with my favourite things and people.
I thought I’d start of with one of my favourite beauty products. I have just repurchased my second bottle it’s that good; also my boyfriend cottoned on to how good it was so the bottle disappeared before my eyes.
Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate
This stuff is gold. I first saw it on an old Sarah’s Day vlog as it was a part of her skincare routine. My skin was screaming out for a bit of help so I thought I’d give it a go. Fair to say it is probably my favourite thing in my skincare/beauty routine.
I was so nervous to try an oil on my face, but this is so nice. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling or looking oily. The best way I can probably explain it, is it leaves you with a beautiful radiant glow and you feel like your skin is being nourished. It’s a lightweight oil and it acts as a defense for the skin against environmental agressors that we experience during the daytime. It also smells divine, which is always a bonus.
I was so impressed by this oil, that I wanted to try some more of their products. (Also a classic, all my skincare stuff has run out at the same time, so might as well trial something new.) I went into the Kiehls store in Albany and was served by a gorgeous girl Nicola. She did a skin test on me to see what skin type I was so she knew which products would suit me best. My skin is very dry, especially at this time of year so my focus was on hydration. I am currently trialling lots of testers from Kiehls, and my Christmas list will probably be quite long.
I’ll keep you updated on the other products
But the Monday hero for this week is my favourite daily reviving concentrate oil.
Love and Health,
