My inner dialogue sounded a lot like:

The best thing I did for myself was invest in a coach - before I had paying clients. Whilst I had no idea what I was doing or where to start, I knew this was something I wanted to do and take seriously so I backed myself and I hired an expert to show me the way. As a coach it is so important to be in integrity in our businesses, if we are presupposing of clients to invest with us we ultimately have to go first right! You will never take a client further than you have taken yourself.

Something I learnt was that having a strategy was great, when I did eventually launch ~ I sold out my first month from an epic strategy, but post that first win, it was crickets. I burned out, I hadn’t gone to work on my mindset and limiting beliefs with money in particular, I majorly self-sabotaged, I was lacking a greater vision and I really wasn’t prepared for how important our ENERGY is to attracting what we desire, and also the energy it takes to hold these containers.

Here’s what I believe ~ business is hugely our mindset and energy! Part of feeling aligned and vibrant in your business is also having FUN and creating a business that feels good for you, not the coach you’re comparing yourself to on insta.

I’m a huge believer that if we are invested in transformation in one area of our lives, it creates a ripple effect elsewhere too. Why should I invest in myself right now?

Why not? As cheesy as this sounds - the best investment you will ever make is in yourself. There is never going to be a ‘perfect’ time to commit to this transformative work. Firstly, totally normal to have fear! Our ego is always there to keep us safe, and it doesn’t necessarily love us shifting and changing. With that being said, fear is always going to be there, no matter where you are in business. Have you heard of the saying - new level, new devil? It’s so true, let me share that from personal experience. Fear will always come up, so it’s learning to take action regardless. What’s scarier for you - remaining where you are, or the change?
