Meet the Founders

Meet Charlotte Gordon and Johnny Konings.

A day before they were due to fly back to NZ to celebrate their engagement, on June 18th 2024 life changed in an instant when on the first wave of the day Johnny came off a wave and hit a sandbank. Resulting in 3 broken ribs, punctured lung,  burst fracture at T10, and a  dislocation at T11 bending his spinal cord leaving him experiencing paralysis from his waist down.

After 6 months in hospital and landing themselves in a grey area with limited funding in both NZ and AUS, the duo decided to get resourceful and designed a t-shirt to raise some money to keep investing in recovery for Johnny.

After bring blown away at the response, ENJOY YOUR LEGS was born.

This not only helps restore forests in these regions, but also employs people in local villages helping to bring them out of poverty. Currently they are planting mangroves in some vital part of Antsanisia, Madagascar. Learn more about their reforestation project here.
